We are extremely grateful we had the opportunity to have Sharona shoot the birth of our son. It was such a great decision to have her a part of our day to capture such a magical event. She did an AMAZING job! She not only documented what was going on throughout the day but was able to capture the emotions of our labor as well, and she did so quite beautifully. We enjoy looking back at the photos and seeing the progression of the day, from anticipation, to nervousness, to pain, and at last the joy of having our little one with us.
Being a mother herself, Sharona was such an encouragement during the labor process and knew exactly what moments to capture. She was so supportive during my labor, giving kind and positive words when needed most. It felt like a good friend was waiting with us. Sharona chatted and laughed with us during the day, all the while managing to get pictures of moments when we don't even remember seeing a camera.

Oh my goodness!!!!! I LOVE LOVE LOOOOOVVVVEEEE the video!!! I finally watched it with my husband and daughter and The Man and I both cried many happy tears. And we watched the video a couple times for good measure! I loved the surprise of the audio recording from the surgery (C-section)! That was so cool!!! Wonderful! Wonderful! What a beautiful gift you've given us to capture those moments!!

Sharona is a highly skilled, competent and professional photographer. I am so thankful that we had the pleasure of working with her for my daughter's newborn shoot. For example, she knew that the room needed to be at a certain temperature to keep our daughter sleep for optimal photos. I knew I wanted to have maternity photos done but didn't have much in the way of ideas. Sharona worked with me in her studio to capture the end of my pregnancy. The results were lovely. Very professional and highly recommended. I don't usually like to have my photo taken but Sharona made me feel comfortable and did a wonderful job.

So happy that I chose to document my sons birth and picked Sharona with Debut Photography to do it. After meeting with Sharona and going over everything, I decided to do a maternity shoot as well. For the maternity shoot, Sharona was amazing and took what could have been a flop (it was 60 degrees and raining... when does it ever rain in SoCal?) and turned it into truly beautiful and artistic photos. She also volunteered to come to my house (I had my son in the hospital) and take some pictures of me and my family before we left to the hospital. I especially love the video she puts together with a recording of key moments of my labor. Every time I watch the video I tear up! If you are contemplating hiring a birth photographer DO IT. We spend thousands of dollars on a wedding photographer/videographer and these moments are just as special. If you are contemplating hiring Sharona DO IT. She is very professional yet caring!!!
